Sacrament Formation and Sacrament Dates
2025-2026
The First Eucharist Application Form must be completed and turned into the child’s teacher or RE catechist by October 19, 2025

The 2nd Grade children will be divided into two groups:
Group A and Group B, for Reconciliation and Eucharist.
Group A: 2nd Graders in Room 7 at ICGS & Sunday RE children
Group B: 2nd Graders in Room 8 at ICGS & RE Wednesday children
Both sacraments will take place in our Sacred Heart Chapel
Group A: First Reconciliation (Confession) –Monday, February 2 at 6:30 p.m. First Eucharist (Communion) – Saturday, May 2, at 9:30 a.m.
Group B: First Reconciliation (Confession) - Tuesday, February 3 at 6:30 p.m. First Eucharist (Communion) – Saturday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m.
PARENT MEETINGS (Parents only)
Sacrament of Reconciliation Parent Meeting in the Church at 1 p.m.
Group A and Group B – Sunday, November 16
Sacrament of Eucharist Parent Meeting in the Church at 1 p.m.
Group A and Group B – Sunday, February 8
BREAD BREAKING RITUAL IN PLUNKETT HALL at 6:30 p.m.
Parents and 2nd Graders are to attend.
Group A – Monday, February 23 Group B – Tuesday, February 24
RECONCILIATION SERVICE IN PREPARATION FOR THE SACRAMENT OF EUCHARIST
Both Parents and 2
nd Graders in Groups A and B – April 21 at 6:30 p.m.
FIRST COMMUNION REHEARSAL
Children line up in Plunkett Hall. Parents locate reserved seating in our Sacred Heart Chapel at 6:30 p.m.
Group A - Tuesday, April 28 Group B - Thursday, April 30
